In answer to your Q re Lightning12 race back in March, that was a race that just went the way in did. The only excuse I can use for the below-par performance (although still managed 5 place) was a 60 ElliptiGO ride the previous weekend which I did not recover from and left me feeling heavy legged from the first lap onwards. In retrospect though it wasn't as bad a race as my race report perhaps suggested and it's only because my expectations were so high going into the 12hr that I was perhaps setting myself up for a fall. Stronger for it though and now aftea long rest after that race am getting back into training. Will read your blog and see what you are up too. I see you know ultra collie - do you know Nick Ham too?!Ultra Disco Stuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13449228562628867236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9178232238702472215.post-73940047881011715942011-06-04T12:12:16.911-07:002011-06-04T12:12:16.911-07:00johny

I am extremely fortunate that I have the Sportwise Sports Injury Clinic located at where I work in Eastbourne. Luke my physio sorts out any little niggles I may have. I also regularly get accupuncture from him as prevention rather than waiting for things to get worse. Not chinese accupuncture but I think he calls it Western accupuncture. When the body was designed to run, it was designed to need operations! Perhaps a rather simple approach, but often keeping things simple is the best!

StuartUltraStuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16637489358497153536noreply@blogger.com
